SHINE SA has been close to my heart and aligned with my values for many years. They do incredibly important work and the residency was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate. I’ve previously shared about my experiences of sexual health counselling through them.

Projects

SHINE SA hosted the inaurgural screening of my TEDx Talk Emotionally Safer Sex and the artworks created for it in the exhibition Intimate.

Doloros the Glittoris, a life size rainbow glitter 3D printed clitoris, was created.

Inside Voice: the prison magazine project

An ambitious Arts and Health project in collaboration with Hepatitis SA and involving several SA government departments and 3 local prisons.

A year and a half from the first creative workshops in the prisons to the delivery of the beautiful magazine, this project was a labour of love steeped in peer voices and human communication.
